In and around Hanmer Springs

Hanmer Springs is famous for its thermal pools. The thermal pool resort is located in the middle of the township, on a ten minute walk from our hostel and is a great place to unwind.

But there is more to do in and around Hanmer! How about horseback riding, mountain biking or quad bike riding? For the more adventurous people amongst us there is bungee jumping, jet boating and wild water rafting.
Looking for something less exciting? Discover Hanmer forest or the mountains by foot. There are plenty longer and shorter walks to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Hanmer also has a beautiful 18 holes golf course, a driving range and a few mini golf courses.
